You can’t cure psoriasis, but you can manage the symptoms with a variety of treatment options. This may involve topical creams, medications, or lifestyle changes.
While there’s no particular diet that’s best for psoriasis, maintaining a healthy diet may help mitigate inflammation. Avoid ultraprocessed foods, added sugars, and alcohol.
Untreated psoriasis can lead to severe discomfort, pain, fatigue, and joint stiffness or inflammation.
There’s no need to panic if you experience symptoms of psoriasis, but you should speak with your doctor about appropriate treatment options.
